Lower costs by improving the health of members with chronic conditions

Despite significant investment and focus, we are still struggling with getting members to proactively engage with their health. These challenges are driving chronic care costs to now over 85% of our total health care expenditures with no slow-down in sight.

juli empowers members with their own data to understand the root causes of their poor health and to take positive and meaningful steps to getting better. Two clinical trials have proven juli’s efficacy.

Proven efficacy across conditions: two completed RCTs

Over 500 patients with depression or asthma used juli for 8 weeks in two separate randomized controlled trials, conducted by a leading university, getting either the full app or a very limited control version.

Both studies reached their primary endpoint of a statistically significantly better improvements vs active control based on PHQ-8 and ACT scores after 8 weeks.

In the depression study the usage of juli even led to 51% of the users achieving remission.

Delivering provable ROI

Depression: 6 point improvement in PHQ from juli generates $76-$97/month savings in medical costs;
annualized savings opportunity of over $1,000 per enrolled member.

Asthma: 5 point improvement in ACT from juli users equals $385/month savings in medical costs;
annualized savings opportunity of $4,500+  per enrolled member.
